Empty Kodak metal daylight spools and plastic container originally used for 100′ 16mm factory film loads. The solid daylight spool flange protects film edges from light exposure so that cameras may be loaded or unloaded in subdued light. Useful for swapping film loads, spare camera take-up spool, spooling down film short ends and film resale products!
Spools and boxes are hand selected from our processing runs for best condition. Selected boxes then have all tape, labels and markings removed and cleaned for easy relabeling. While this recycled product is similar in condition to new Kodak spools and boxes, some minor blemishes may be present.
Recycled Kodak Product
Kodak Factory Spool: Flat black, metal daylight spool for 16mm 100′ loads. Solid flange protects film edges from light exposure.
Spool Measurements: 3 5/8″ diameter X 3/4″ deep. Fits on standard 5/16″ keyed shaft or spindle common on cameras and projectors.
Kodak Factory Container: Black plastic box with self sealing flip lid. ProGaff 1″ gaff tape is recommended to properly secure lid.
Container Measurements: 3.75″ X 3.75″ X 1″
Compatibility: All 16mm cameras and projectors that accept 100′ loads. Also, edit rewinds with 5/16″ keyed shaft or spindle.
Green Product: 100% recycled, conserving global resources while reducing landfill impact.
Recycling (Cleaning) Process: Kodak spools and boxes are hand selected from our film processing runs for best, “like new” condition. Film boxes are gently heated to remove all adhesive tape and labels. Box is then chemically scrubbed to remove any remaining adhesive residue and markings for reuse as a green, recycled product. While this product is similar to new Kodak spools and boxes, some minor blemishes may be present.
