Crystal clear roll tape made for 3M splicers as well as Moviola, Rivas, Christy’s, Atomic, Magnasyc, Inviso, Hollywood Film, Ediquip, and many others. Tape now features a new silicone base backing that easily peels away from the roll without leaving ratchet marks, creases, or bubbles. While the tape easily peels away from the roll, once applied to film the adhesive bonds like a rock.
This new silicone backing also prevents splices from sticking to the film pack as the film runs trough projectors or scanners which greatly reduces the chance of film breaks or picture hiccups.
Note that 16mm only comes double perforated since it can also be applied to single perf film.
35mm = 150 splices both sides per roll.
16mm = 300 splices both sides per roll.
Splicer Compatibility: For use with splicers similar to the one pictured to the left. Tape application steps are to align tape on film surface, clamp down and tear tape along the clamp edge. Spring loaded cutting blade and clamp can be seen in the picture for comparison purposes.
