16mm Test Roll Kit
Just bought a 16mm camera from Ebay or Craigslist? Have no idea how it works? Our 16mm Test Roll Kit is your easiest path to successfully learning to load a 16mm camera and test out the transport before spending substantial money on film and developing. Test film and a basic loading diagram are included to help you get started. This expired roll of test film is NOT intended for actual shooting.
All testing with this kit may be done in full light to better observe loading errors or mechanical issues with a camera. The included 100′ roll of 16mm film is double perforated (2R) Kodak film which is compatible with 16mm cameras that have single or double sided drive sprockets. Because the film is perforated on both sides, it may be run through any 16mm camera in either direction (head to tail or tail to head), skipping the need to wind the film back to the original spool for repeated testing.
Kodachrome chemistry and developing was officially discontinued in 2010. Considering this, do NOT buy this test roll with the intention of shooting it for a project. The roll of film being sold is for practice and transport testing purposes only!
